Applications are generally announced when the system is ready. If you see a notification that the system is under maintenance or forms are not yet on sale, please stay tuned and keep checking back for updates. The public will be notified once applications begin.
The two options refer to the mode of study for the SBRS Remedial Programme:
- On-campus (physical learning): This is the traditional, in-person mode of study where you attend all classes, practical sessions, and examinations at the school's physical location.
- Online (Distance learning): This option allows you to study remotely. Lectures are delivered 100% online through the school's Learning Management System (LMS). However, Practical Sessions & Examinations are 100% physical and must be attended in person at designated centres based on your location.
Upon submitting your application (after completing all required information), you will see the "Pay Application Fee" button. Click on that button and you will be redirected to the Remita Payment Gateway. You can pay using your ATM card, bank transfer, or take the generated RRR to any commercial bank for payment.
Payment gateway errors (like Error 500 or 520) usually stem from the payment gateway administrators or poor network connection. Please be patient and try again later. If your payment does not reflect immediately, wait a little while and log back in. Also, ensure you have filled in all the required information in your application form before attempting payment.
You can log in to your application portal to modify earlier submissions or re-upload correct documents (e.g., indigene certificate, WAEC results, name correction). If the option is missing, it may be because your application is already under review, or you need to submit a support ticket so the admin can enable the edit option for you.
No, the Remedial programme only qualifies you for admission into the 100 level. However, we have Basic (IJMB) programmes that can qualify you for admission into the 200 level if you meet the minimum requirements.
No, this is normal and not a system issue. O-Level results and other documents will continue to show as "Pending" until the administration starts reviewing all applications. Please be patient and stay tuned for the approval of your documents.
No, the Remedial programmes are available only to candidates from northern states. However, the Basic (IJMB) programmes are open to all candidates, including those from non-northern states.
The application forms for the IJMB programmes are typically made available around December each year. Please keep checking the portal for updates.
Yes, if you mistakenly selected the wrong course or subject combination (e.g., RS1 instead of RS2), you can log back into your portal to make the correction before the final processing begins. If you are unable to do so, please raise a support ticket.
